Students in Cindy O鈥橠ell鈥檚 Photo I class used 鈥淛ump,鈥� a 1959 book by photographer Philippe Halsman, as inspiration for their assignment to capture a subject mid-air. Here鈥檚 a sample: Top by Jiayi Wang 鈥�24; middle by Khoa Cu Dang Cao 鈥�23; bottom by Michelle Torres 鈥�24. O鈥橠ell is the A. Reid Winsey professor of art and art history.
